Stevenage and North
Herts Adventure Club is run entirely by volunteers and was established in
the 1950s to provide adventurous outdoor activities for young people - and
that is still our main aim - but today we welcome members of any age.
We are easy-going and friendly and offer you the chance to try something new,
get a sense of achievement and enjoy that feel-good factor.
Our weekend adventures and club activities are suitable for everyone, even if you have never participated in outdoor pursuits before. Our qualified leaders and fellow members will give you all the help and encouragement you need and you can take things at your own pace. Of course, if you are already an enthusiast, our destinations always offer a more challenging experience too.
We'll make sure that you have the right equipment for your activities - we have our own kit and safety equipment you can borrow or we will recommend a suitable hire shop.
While
the accent is on having fun, we take everyone's safety very seriously - our
leaders hold qualifications that comply with all the current governing body
requirements.
Whatever your age,
whatever your experience, the Stevenage and North Herts Adventure Club offers
you safe, fun outdoor activities in stunning locations. Membership is open
to all from the age of 14 years upwards …. and is granted free to all
participants to any event.
